Hiring a dog walker is now easier than ever, Swifto’s simple website design makes hiring a dog walker as easy as a click of a button. This article walks through the simple steps from logging onto the computer to securing a professional dog walker.
1. The first step is to google www.swifto.com. Then you will want to hit the try us out button. From here you will be directed to input your dog(s) name(s). The Swifto website makes it super easy to book a dog walker, but there is more on the website than hiring a dog walker. Swifto’s website features great informational blog posts and other useful info when it comes to raising your pup.
2. The next step is to enter your address to ensure that we service your area.
3. Swifto takes a lot of care into ensuring your safety, and that starts with how we protect your key. This screen gives you the option to select how you will grant access to the dog walker into your home/apartment. If you choose to give Swifto access to your house key, there are state of the art security boxes with cameras at our office . 4. The next step is to select the type of dog walks your dog needs. Would you like a one time dog walk, or would you like to set up repeating dog walks? Once you make a selection then you will be prompted to select what days of the week you want dog walks and the date of your dog’s first walk.
5. Swifto wants to ensure that the dog walker and the dog are a good fit together and that you are thrilled with the walker chosen. So Swifto offers a complimentary meet and greet for every new client.In this screen you would insert a few times that you and your dog may be available for the meet and greet. We do like to know what schedule you would need after the meet and greet to ensure that the walker we send for the meet and greet would be available for future dog walks as well.
6. The next step is how long the duration of the walk should be, Swifto offers between 20 minute walks and 4 hour visits which can be selected online. We also offer longer visits and overnight stays as well which can be set up by contacting us at scheduling at swifto.com or calling/texting (917) 746-7633
7. The next step is to input all of your personal info into the system. You will then have the option to either insert your credit card details right away or add them in only after the meet and greet. Regardless you won’t be charged until after your dog’s first walk.
8. Once you’re done with that, you will then be prompted to insert everything we may need to know about your dog, starting from things he may be afraid of or uncomfortable with and any allergies, route considerations etc.
At that point we will go ahead and start figuring out who will be the best dog walker for your dog from our pool of highly experienced and trained dog walkers who will be able to be there and build a bond with your dog for the long term. We will reach out to our selected dog walkers, figure out who is available, and then once we have a match, we will let you know and arrange a complimentary meet and greet. We will send you the full name of the dog walker so you can give him access by the doorman if you need to, and his contact details so you can communicate with each other directly as well.
After the meet and greet we will then follow up and make sure it was a good match, and you’re all set! The dog walker will arrive within the time window specified, and be there for your dog either for the dog walks or for the pet sitting or dog sitting services you requested.
The above picture shows our tech that we use during the walk. The walk is GPS tracked, and you can see info about where exactly they walked to, how long the walk was, and how many miles they walked as well.
You will get a text message when the dog walk starts and ends, photos of your dog along the way,a poop notification, and a summary of the dog walker letting you know how it went.
