What the Walk or Visit Duration Includes
When you schedule a walk or visit with us, it's important to note that the total time includes:
- The sitter getting your pet ready (harnessing, leashing, putting on apparel if needed)
- The actual walk or visit time for dogs or playtime for cats
- Returning home, removing gear, wiping paws, and crating (if necessary)
- Feeding, refilling water, and/or medication administration (if requested)
- Cleaning up after your pet (litter box scooping, putting toys away, etc.)
Walk and Visit Length Guide
- 20 minutes – This duration is ideal for a quick potty break, a short walk around the block, or letting your dog out in the backyard. This option is also purr-fect for a cat visit as it allows plenty of time for feeding, litter box cleaning, and some playtime.
- 30 minutes – This duration is a good middle ground for a solid walk around the neighborhood or an extended cat visit with extra playtime and attention!
- 45 minutes – This duration is perfect for pets needing a bit more engagement or exercise! This is great for energetic dogs or cats who enjoy longer play sessions and interaction.
- 60 minutes – This duration is great for active dogs needing a longer walk or for multi-pet households that require extra care, feeding, and play. This is also a great option if you have multiple dogs and prefer them to be walked separately.
- 90 minutes – This duration is great for high-energy dogs that require long adventures and need extra time to burn off their energy!
Special Dog Park Visit Considerations
