Ingrid Johana B.
Hello!!! My name is Ingrid, I'm from Honduras where I was working as a pharmacist for 7 years devoted time to animal rescue and care. In January 2018 I moved to New York where I live with my husband and our fluffy babies. I have loved animals all my life, especially dogs and cats. In 2014 I had the opportunity to adopt a beautiful dog . If I had not done it, she would have died, because her health was very bad. I take care of her with patience and love. Now she is 8 years old and a happy and healthy dog that loves to walk in Central Park. My cat is 2 years old , I adopted him in 2016. He loves to play with his toys and meet new people. I speak Spanish and I'm studying English at Columbia University. I have high energy, patience and dependability. I love going for long walks regardless of weather. I don't have any breed or size preferences and I'll ask you many questions at our meet-and-greet about your dog's habits and needs. I will make sure your dog feels safe and comfortable and give them the same love that I give to my dog and cat.

Hello, my name is Amanda and as a dedicated pet owner myself, I understand and empathize with pet owners and their concerns for reliable pet care. Hello, my name is Gerardo! I have a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Public Health. I’m honored of being the father of a wonderful Bichon Frise named Solin, who I’ve had for over 5 years now. Since I was a little kid, I’ve always been an animal person, especially dogs. I have years of experience walking my neighbor’s Shih Tzu, my friends Boxer, and my current dog. So, I’m very comfortable with small and larger breeds. I really enjoy walking dogs since I believe that they deserve some fun time to discover this vast world we live in! I can’t wait to get to know you and your faithful companion(s). Not only will they enjoy their walk and keep them safe, but I will ensure to give them the same love I give my dog.

Dora R.
Hi my name is Dora. I have grown up around dogs my whole life. From the age of 4 to 16 I had a Shih Tzu named Misty. I currently have an 8 year old Pekapoo. Many family members of mine have always had dogs from Shih Tzu's, Yorkie's, Pitbulls, and more. I have walked dogs as a living. I've walked dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a dog enjoying their walk or play time and even meal time. I love being around animals more than anything and I look forward to getting to know you and your pets.

Tyler R.
Hi there! I'm Tyler, an SF Bay Area born-and-raised writer, editor, marketer, and avid dog lover who's lived in New York for the better part of the last decade. I’m also a proud dog dad to a 2-year-old French Bulldog. After graduating from The New School with a degree in Literature, I worked for a variety of media-focused startups, primarily in the women's lifestyle sphere. In my spare time, you'll find me writing, reading, exploring the latest museum exhibits, and more often than not, wandering the city for hours, taking it all in. My passion for pups started from a young age; I'm from an extremely animal-friendly household, and grew up with a wide variety of pets, from rabbits to dogs. I've been caring for our four-legged friends since age 10, and I can safely say there's nothing in the world that makes me more joyful than spending quality time with these lovely creatures. I have extensive experience walking and babysitting dogs of all shapes, sizes, and particularities. These pups are our best friends; they're always there for us, and they deserve the utmost respect and the best sort of treatment imaginable. When your dog is happy, I'm happy. I hope for the opportunity to meet your adorable pup soon!

Jaida F.
Hi there! I am a 21 year old graduate student with a degree in Musical Theater! Art, animals and volunteer-ship have been a long part of my life, ever since I became a Girl Scout at four years old and I can now proudly call myself a Lifetime Member. Something funny to know about me is that one of the first things I wanted to be when I grew up was a Veterinarian, that is until four year old me found out there would be a lot less cuteness involved and a lot more blood (and I was a particularly squeamish kid). However, my love for animals never diminished. I have my own dog that I helped my father train when I was ten and dogs have always been a large part of my life, from volunteering at animal shelters through Girl Scouts to playing and raising dogs with my great grandparents on their farm in North Carolina. I cannot wait to meet and love on your pup!

Anna H.
Hi there! I may be new to New York but I'm not new to spoiling your pet. Dogs have been part of my life since birth and I can't imagine life without them. Outside of the three dogs I've owned, I've also foster for my local shelters. Currently, I've fostered 14 cats and dogs over the last year and half. Luckily, all of them found homes as soon as they were ready to leave my home. I have taken care of bottle-fed puppies, nursing mothers, tempermental dogs, and senior dogs. I can administer medication, do basic training and crate train as well. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your dog(s)!

Alice D.
Hi There! My name is Alice and I'm an artist by day, musician by night, and a full-time dog lover. If it barks, woofs, boofs, yips, yaps, or even just quietly stares from across the room making judgments about your lifestyle choices - I love 'em all! (Cats also welcome here... albeit much harsher judgments). Originally from Westchester, I grew up with a wonderful little beagle named Winnie and had tons of neighborhood dog friends. It was tough to bid farewell when I headed off to college, but luckily I had dog loving professors that would let me pet sit for them in exchange for extended deadlines on papers. (Because honestly, how can I focus on an assignment when a cuddle is requested from a floofy boi). In addition to the less glamorous responsibility of poop management, I've been known to teach dogs some basic tricks such as not pulling on leashes, sitting, or laying down. I'd be more than happy to reinforce any training that your dog might be learning. I've got good vibes and energy that I'm sure your dog will be excited to walk with. And if he doesn't, then I also sometimes smell like bacon. And that's just good for everyone.

Marco R.
Hi there! My name is Marco and I grew up in downtown Brooklyn Carroll Gardens/Cobble Hill area. I’ve been working with dogs all around for about 6 years and have plenty experience supervising, handling, walking, grooming and of course giving the pup the attention they deserve. You can count on me to take care of your pup when your not home or at work etc. The happiness and well being of your child that barks is my number 1 top priority.

Gabriel S.
Hi there!! My name is Gabriel. I have been around dogs my entire life. I have owned Chihuahuas and a Terrier Poodle and I have been around Terriers, Rottweilers, Boxers, Pit Bulls, Dalmations, Yorkeys, Huskies and many others. I strongly believe that a person cannot have a better friend than their dog, and I keep that in mind when I'm caring for other people's dogs. I take it as a huge honor and with great responsibility, the privilege to be part of your dog's life.

Alex F.
Hi there, My name is Alex I am a Brooklyn based photographer, living in New York for 15 years, very familiar with the city in all its environments. I have often performed this role for my roommates and some good friends, helping them to take theirs best friend out for a mid-day stroll and bathroom break during the week while they work, and sometimes have them for the weekend with me. They are Gary & Lulu a Cockapoo and a Labrador who are adorable and I like to take them play at the park with me,or for a run with me in the bike, they are very good behaved and I try to educate them in to sit and listen to me. I as a kid grew up with different animals some of them a cockatoo, a monkey, and a rabbit. I choose to play with the dogs, a German Shepherd and a Collie it was my duty as a child to take care of them, doing this made me appreciate them and have fun with them and had Lots of adventures wit them as well. I have volunteered in animal shelters and have a solid understanding of the needs of our friends. As a freelance street photographer, my schedule is very flexible and I can commit to being available BTW 9am-6pm Mon-Fri. I love to ride my bike to get around in all seasons, so am used to being outdoors in all kinds of weather situations! I love all animals but have a particular fondness for dogs. I can see myself being very happy spending some time interacting with your best friend and rooming around the city going in to parks with them. Feel free to reach me to 347 267 3320 Cheers Alex

Willa B.
Hi there, my name is Willa. My favorite passion has always been working with animals and because of this, I've had a large range of animal-centric jobs such as working on a farm caring for horses and wild stock, cleaning out snake tanks at a Wildlife Center, corralling loose goats at the Children's Zoo, preparing meals for a range of animals at the Bronx Zoo, cuddling up to and caring for at least thirty dogs at a doggy daycare, taking dogs on long walks through Central Park, working as a Adoption Counselor for puppies from Puerto Rico and more. Even though I've worked with a variety of animals, dogs have always been my absolute favorite. And because of this, I can't wait to meet and take care of your pup. <3

Gabriel C.
Hi! I'm Gabriel. I was born in Cuenca, Ecuador and raised in NYC since I was 7 years old. From my childhood and into my late teens, I had the opportunity to care for Malu (Chow-Chow) Rocky (Shit-Zu) and Bella (Pitbull). They taught me the necessary skills to start off my career as a dog handler. I have a year plus of experience as a professional dog handler, dealing with Dogs of all sizes and age. Allowing me to guarantee your dogs safety and satisfaction when they are under my care. They will be safe when they are being exercised and socialize during play time. I will detect and discourage inappropriate behavior, and implement reward programs to encourage good behavior. Lastly, because I wish others will treat my family members as I would, I would go above and beyond to keep your pet happy. I would go an extra mile if need be. All to make sure your experience here at Swifto is as positive as possible.

Rebecca A.
Hi! I'm Rebecca, and I have always been a dog person. Since I was born, I have had dogs by my side. From the sweetest collie, to the wildest beagle, I love them all. I currently have three cats, so I am definitely an animal lover. Outside of dog walking, I love to kickbox, draw, and watch nerdy sci-fi TV shows. Also a huge fan of musicals, both movie and stage.
