We’re excited to announce the launch of our new API which has been designed to make it easier for external providers such as concierge services, vets, groomers, and similar businesses to schedule walks and visits and receive booking updates for their clients while seamlessly integrating through your own systems.
We wanted to provide a quick overview of how it works and how it can benefit your business and client experience!
What Does the API Do?
Our API allows external providers to schedule walks and visits directly through their UI. This means that businesses with their own apps or systems can now incorporate dog walk and pet sitting scheduling as part of the services they offer.
The API communicates with our system, allowing us to receive the booking requests while the business can maintain control over the design and user experience.
Features of the API:
- Flexible UI Integration: You can design your own walk scheduling interface, and our API will handle the back-end processes to ensure the walks are scheduled and managed smoothly! We just have basic requirements of what we will need.
- Payment: Payments can still go through you and you will be paid a 15% revenue share! So, in turn, through your system, you would deduct 15%, and then the remaining payment would be given to us.
- Real-Time Updates: After each walk or visit, the summary messages, photos, and GPS tracking data are sent directly to your platform. Your clients will receive these updates via text. You can also display this information on your dashboard!
