They are Long Islands most western pumpkin farm. Unlike most other farms in the area, their pumpkins are grown in their fields. You are invited to pick off the vine ( while supplies last ) and experience how fresh a pumpkin can be. Pumpkins are priced by size. Have fun on the wagon ride around the farm. A fee is required. Covid 19 rules apply. There is a small corn maze suitable for children.
2. McCarren Park Greenmarket | Union Ave &, N 12th St, Brooklyn, NY 11206
McCarren Park’s Greenmarket takes place on Saturdays inside the park near North 12th Street and Union Avenue. This is one of North Brooklyn’s largest markets and the only farmer’s market in the area that is open year-round. From May through December, the market is open 8 a.m. – 3 p.m., and from January through April, it is open 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
